Welsummer chickens are a hardy, dual-purpose breed best known for their beautifully speckled eggs. They are excellent foragers, adapt well to a variety of climates, and thrive in both homestead and backyard settings. Hens are dependable layers of medium to large eggs with deep color that everyone loves.
